With this project we hope to start an archive of information about the quarter, to introduce the inhabitants of the quarter to each other, to make them think of the developments of the neighbourhood. </p> <p>The collection of information will take place in three different ways. </p> <p>-a mobile unit that will meet people in the street, in parks, associations, shops in the surrounding of the Cascina starting from Friday, the 6th of April. The “Stars of the Neighbourhood”  will be portrayed, interviewed, then represented on playing cards that people will read, collect and exchange. The cards will be distributed with shopping bags at the Shops and Restaurants of the Cascina.</p> <p>-a temporary photographic studio held at Cascina Cuccagna during the Public Design Festival. During the Festival we would like to involve also some engaged neighbors to talk with guests about their experiences (i.e. living libraries).</p> <p>-an open archive where people is invited to share their old and recent pictures of the neighborhood, memories, thoughts, recipes, … : one digital in form of a blog and one analogue in form of a pinboard at Cascina Cuccagna.</p>http://stellecuccagna.tumblr.com/post/20958381599http://stellecuccagna.tumblr.com/post/20958381599Thu, 12 Apr 2012 12:31:24 +0200<img src="http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m2bg6wrjHU1rtc8ofo1_500.jpg"/><br/><br/><p>La <a href="http://www.cuccagna.org/portal/IT/handle/?page=homepage">Cascina Cuccagna</a> è una delle più antiche cascine agricole milanesi,<strong> a Milano dal 1695</strong>. </p> <p><span class="Apple-style-span">Per strapparla dall’abbandono, <a href="http://www.cuccagna.org/portal/IT/handle/?page=chisiamo_new">un consorzio di nove associazioni milanesi</a> ha elaborato un progetto che vede la sua trasformazione in un nuovo spazio pubblico: <strong>“un centro polifunzionale d’iniziativa e partecipazione territoriale”</strong>. </span></p> <p><span class="Apple-style-span">Stelle del quartiere, nello spirito del consorzio, si propone di recuperare memorie, immagini, ricordi della Cuccagna prima dell’abbandono, di raccontarne la storia dal punto di vista di chi l’ha vissuta. La sfida per questa nuova edizione del Makerlab è la seguente: “Come coinvolgere il pubblico per moltiplicare l’effetto delle azioni che vogliamo avviare?”.</p> <p>Durante le due settimane di residenza (1-15 Aprile @ Superground, via Bussola) collaboriamo per sviluppare azioni pubbliche interattive per il Public Design Festival (17-21 aprile @ Cascina Cuccagna, via Muratori).
